Last year, my husband and I adopted a miniature dachshund from a rescue organization for abused animals.  He has brought so much laughter & love into our lives and made us more aware of rescue and shelter animals & their needs.

Recently, I came across the Animal Rescue website.  They have a feature that allows you to click on a purple box on their website daily - free to you - and just by clicking on that box, you can help feed .6 bowls of food to their rescue animals.  It costs nothing - they just need you to click the box so their sponsors know you're visiting their site.

You can even sign up on the left-hand side for a daily reminder email...something I do because I never think to head to the site to click the purple box on my own.
