Six cocaine and marijuana-related felony charges were filed in Manitowoc County Circuit Court Friday against a 50-year-old Illinois man who also maintains a residence in Manitowoc.
Ted. R. Bokan was charged with two counts of manufacturing and delivering cocaine, two counts of maintaining a drug-trafficking place, possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. The offenses allegedly took place in April, May and September.
His initial court appearance is set for 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Lt. Dave Remiker of the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit told the HTR earlier that investigators on Sept. 23 arrested Bokan, who they believed was responsible for the flow of drugs from Illinois into Manitowoc.
According to Remiker:
Investigators arrested the Bokan, who had about $2,000 in cash on him, in the 1500 block of Hamilton Street. They also obtained a search warrant and located more than 43 grams of cocaine, including individually packaged bags of powder as well as base cocaine, in the 1400 block of Philippen Street. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia also were found.
