Featured Pet of the Week
To adopt Trixie or another animal, please contact the Lakeshore Humane Society at 920-684-5401 or stop down to see the animals in person at 1551 North 8th Street in Manitowoc! If you are unable to have pets where you live or can't take any more animal friends into your home, please consider dropping off a donation or a bag of pet food at the Lakeshore Humane Society to help out our furry friends.
Trixie: I’ve been at the shelter since last March! I’m an adult female that’s great lap cat material, I’m a little bit plump. I had 2 kittens at the shelter and they got homes right away but I’m still looking for someone to love me. I’m spayed and fully vaccinated.
Hi, I'm Andie. I was born on May 23, 2008. I'm a sweet but very shy girl who has only three legs. I was rescued by the employees at the Plymouth Dairy Queen. I like older children and adults best, little kids are too busy for me. Other cats are fine, but I stay away from dogs. I do very well with three paws, but tile or wood floors do give me a little trouble. Please take me home with you. Call today !
To adopt Andie, please contact Two Left Paws. Two Left Paws is a volunteer operated, foster-based animal rescue. We don't have a building, so all of our available animals live in foster homes- not cages. We take some of our available animals to local pet stores for a weekly mobile adoption event so folks can meet the animals or discuss with a volunteer what type of animal they are searching for so we can match the best personality of the animal with the family. We rely 100% on donations for food and medical care for our animals. We also have a Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) program in which we receive donations and grant monies to alter feral cats and return them to their neighborhood colony so we can help reduce the cat over-population. You can find out more about TLP at our website - www.twoleftpaws.org or call us 920 331-0100.
