The total number of interviewees for all full-time vacancies filled during the past year - 7/11/09 through 7/31/10 was 57.
3 full-time jobs filled since 7/11/09.
The company did recruit continuously for Marketing Representatives. The company hired 3 people as the result of that effort.

Most of the 57 applicants were the result of recruitment through the Wisconsin Job Service, which serves all of Wisconsin and is accessible to anyone with Internet capability. One of the persons hired was the result of an ad placed with the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. Sources also used were the CUB RADIO website, on-air ads on WCU~B and WLTU, the WBA website, and Wisconsin Broadcasters Association's newsletter.
CUB RADIO used additional recruitment sources: 2 Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Job Fairs.
6 Applicants offered resumes at the January Job Fair, and 6 more applicallts offered resumes at the June Job Fair. No hires were made as a result, so the number of interviews was 12, and the number of hires was O.
Participating Station Attendees: Lee Davis, General Manager and President, attended both job fairs.

Ads ran on WCUB and WLTU from January 5th through January 26th, 2010, inviting job seekers to attend the career fair, and see what opportunities might be available to them. We ran another series of ads from June ih through June nnd, inviting job seekers to attend that career fair, and see what opportunities might be available to them.
Lee Davis attended a workshop at the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association on January 2ih, 2010, entitled "Legallssues in Hiring: Effective Strategies to Promote EEO and Prevent Unlawful Discrimination". He then attended a second seminar on June 23rd, 2010, entitled "Discrimination Law for Broadcasters: Legal Issues and Effective Strategies to Prevent Unlawful Discrimination", Both of these seminars were in conjunction with the Wisconsin Broadcasters 2010 Conventions.

Ads were also run from February 1st through February 20th, announcing the opportunity for students in our listening area to compete for a $7,000.00 scholarship, sponsored by SESAC and the International Broadcasters Idea Bank, and Cub Radio, Inc.
Letters were sent to 17 recruitment sources and women's organizations on 7/30/10, informing them that we have, from time to time, employment openings on WCUB and WLTU Radio.
Ads promoting the Wisconsin Broadcasters Scholarship Program were run on WCUB and WLTU, and included $100.00 payments every two years for the stations to participate. Our President and General Manager, Lee Davis, served as a screening judge of all applicants for both years.
WCUB/WLTU hosted one intern this year. It was Kimberly Krejcarek. She was completing her second internship at the company. She needed an additional 80 hours to complete the 140 hour requirement, which included last year's internship here.
She was assigned a myriad of duties, including virtually everything at the radio station, from at one time or another during her internship, and performed exceptionally well. Her records are in our internship file.
The following four activities will be implemented by the next filing deadline of the station's FCC Form 397 Statement of Compliance:
1- Participate in at least one job fair with businesses or professional organizations whose members include substantial numbers of women and minorities.
2 - Participate in scholarship programs directed to students desiring to pursue a career in broadcasting.
3 - List each upper-level job opening in a job bank or media newsletter that reaches substantial numbers of women and minorities.
4 - Train management personnel in methods to ensure equal employment opportunities and prevent discrimination.
Activity: At least one job fair with business of professional organizations whose members include substantial numbers of women and minorities.

Brief Description: Lee Davis reiterated the company's commitment to equal employment opportunities. He also encouraged all employees to look for and seek out those who might be good employees, particularly mentioning some of the new emerging ethnic groups in the area, and encouraging our employees to invite those members of ethnic groups to apply for employment.
