Genrose "Genny" Lettenberger, age 76, died unexpectedly, but peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2011, surrounded by family.
Funeral services for Genny will be held at 11:00am Thursday, December 22, 2011 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Community, Newton. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Patrick Nelson. Cremation has taken place. Entombment will be at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc for immediate family at a later date.

She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Rosalinda (Wagner) Endries-Schnell; her father-in-law and mother -in-law Arnold and Ida (Krueger) Lettenberger as well as step-father Norbert Schnell. Brother Eugene Endries, sisters Stella Boettcher, Florence Woelfel, Anna Mae Rosecky and Carol Jane Kumbalek and a sister-in-law: Marjorie O’Sullivan.

Shirley M. Malkowski, age 76, current resident of Harbor House in Manitowoc, formerly of 2343 – 38th St. Two Rivers, died peacefully Sunday morning, December 18, 2011 at the Harbor House.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Paul Malkowski; two sons & a daughter-in-law, Michael Malkowski, Houston, TX, Wane and Beth Malkowski, New Berlin, WI; two daughters & sons-in-law, Lori and Jim Gitto, Lisa and Jim Strecher, all of Hartland, WI; and nine grandchildren: Mackenzie, Drew, and Lauren Malkowski; Daniel, Sam, and Stephanie Gitto; Josh, Ben, and Meleana Strecher. She is further survived by a brother & sister-in-law, Jerome ( Vivian) Wanek, Two Rivers; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Janice (Bob) Singer, Manitowoc, Jim (Nancy) Malkowski, St. Paul, MN, Tom (Robbie) Malkowski, Buffalo Grove, IL; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Helen G. Hronek, a resident of Manitowoc, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 03, 2011 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc.
Helen was born on November 28, 1921 in Manitowoc to the late John and Emma Suchan Hronek. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1939. She was employed with Associated Bank for almost 25 years until she retired as Assistant Vice President in 1987. From 1997 to 2010 she spent her retirement as an invaluable volunteer at Uniquely Yours Pastry Shoppe. Helen was an active member of St. James Episcopal Church in Manitowoc.
Her interests included family, gardening, cooking, baking and reading. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. She believed “Charity Begins at Home” and always stepped in to lend a helping hand whenever any family member needed it. Even though she never had children of her own, she was a mother to so many. At the end of a busy day, after she already had dinner in the oven, you would most likely find her sitting on the floor, playing solitaire and sipping a martini adorned with an anchovy olive.
Survivors include her sister and best friend: Emily Hronek, Manitowoc; nieces and nephews: Audrey Tomchek, Manitowoc; Gary and Sally Hronek, Coleta, IL; great nieces and nephews: Jennifer Pasquill, St. Petersburg, FL; Lisa and Eugene Dulski, Plainfield, IL; also several more nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends scattered all over the world. Helen was preceded in death by her parents: John and Emma Hronek; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Leonard and Clara Hronek; John and Mary Hronek; and one nephew: Steven Hronek.
According to Helen’s wishes, a private memorial service will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, N. 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc on Monday, December 12th. The Rev. Gary W. Zipperer, age 52, of 2940 – 37th St. Two Rivers, died Tuesday afternoon, December 6, 2011 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie; one daughter & son-in-law, Alicia and Adam Koenig of Green Bay; his mother, Janice (Hoffmann) Zipperer of Manitowoc; two brothers & a sister-in-law, Scott (Sharon) Zipperer of School Hill, and their children, Sean and Seth; Bill Zipperer & fiancé, Fay Armstrong of Clarks Mills, and his children, Brooke and Adam; and one sister, Mary Ann Haney of Manitowoc, and her children, Jimmy, Alex, Dawn, and Andrew.
