Started out as a part time announcer in Wausau, Wisconsin in 1967. Went to college, majoring in speech...with an emphasis on drama at the U of W Eau Claire...left after one year due to financial considerations. Attended broadcast school for a nine month course & rejoined the WSAU staff in Wausau, Wisconsin as a full time announcer in 1971.
