Bad to the Bone

A man who calls himself Prince Midnight has built a functioning guitar from the skeleton of his dead uncle, according to MetalSucks.

In Midnight's native Greece, cremation is frowned upon within the nation’s Orthodox Christian church, so his uncle Flip, who died in a car accident 20 years ago, willed his skeleton to a local college instead.

However, after the college was no longer needed the skeleton, and the family refused to have him cremated, Midnight had Filip’s bones sent to his home in the US rather than pay for cemetery space.

He then attached a guitar neck, pickups, volume knobs, a jack, strings and electronics to the bones of Filip’s torso to make a fully functioning electric guitar.

Prince just finished assembling the guitar, dubbed the "Skelecaster," on Tuesday, according to the website, adding the instrument "Plays perfect and sounds awesome."

There's even a video of the guitar in action.
