Bathroom Bickering Leads to Breakups
Living in close quarters these past few months has probably strained quite a few relationships, and one point of contention always seems to be the bathroom. In fact, a new poll shows that many have actually ended a relationship because they couldn't cope with their significant others' bathroom habits.
A survey of 2,000 British couples conducted by Triton Showers found that 70% were engaged in a "bathroom war" with their partners, while nearly 20% have broken up with someone because they couldn't resolve their bathroom issues.
The biggest issue for men, the poll found, is the amount of hair their partners leave in the shower drain without cleaning it out. For women, it's the messes --- and, real talk -- the odors that their men left behind after using the bathroom.
Time spent in the bathroom is also an issue: A third of respondents accused their partner of hogging the shower.
More than half of couples, meanwhile, say they argue about bathroom habits up to three times a week.
