Man Breaks Lemon Juice Chugging Record (Video)
There's a world record for everything... including sucking down a liter of lemon juice.
Shortpedia reports that David Rush is adding another feather to his very impressive cap because he just claimed a new world record -- fastest lemon juice drinker.
Basically, Rush holds over 100 Guinness World Record titles. So, to add one more to his lengthy resume, he filled a large measuring cup with a liter of pure lemon juice, stuck a straw into the sour goodness and started sucking.
17 seconds later -- well, 16.53 seconds to be exact -- and perhaps a loss of all feeling in his mouth, he now is the newest Guinness World Record holder for fastest lemon juice sucker.
...A record he previously held for chugging a liter down in 17.12 seconds. Before him though, a man named Andre Ortolf held the title.
So how's Rush feeling? The lemon juice, for obvious reasons, gave him an upset tummy. But, to him, it was well worth the pain.
Rush also filmed himself smashing the record, which shows his family heckling him before, during and after the show. Turns out he wasn't all that jazzed to tackle such a feat -- then again, it's not like he had much else to do considering most of the nation is still in a form of lockdown due to COVID-19 concerns.
Anyways, now you know what to do when life hands you some lemons. Good luck smashing David Rush's world record.
