Nope, You Don't Need a Driver's License to Drive Power Wheels
You know what a Karen is: the slang term for a super entitled and demanding woman who pitches a fit when the slightest thing offends her or doesn't go her way.
Now that's out of the way, meet "Grand-Karen," as the Internet has affectionately dubbed her.
When a young mom decided to take her kids to the public park so they could play with their Power Wheels, she met face to face with "Grand-Karen." The bizarre exchange was uploaded to TikTok.
Apparently, to this power walking elderly woman, kids having fun in a motorized toy car is grounds for offense. So, she storms up and begins berating the young mom for letting her kids "drive all over the place."
One problem, Power Wheels typically tap out at 5 mph and, on top of that, the kids were pretty close to their guardian.
So, when the mom counters that her children are "playing" in a public space, Grand-Karen switches tactics by unloading the absolute worst reasoning ever to explain why she's in the right to be offended.
Her preamble begins with the fact that cars are not allowed in the park, that she's never seen a car in the park before, and drops this solid gold line.
"What bothers me is you have a little kid [driving the car] who doesn't have a driver's license," the histrionic woman wails. "He's just a little kid! You should [be in the car with him!]"
Obviously, the mother -- who is most likely too big and heavy to fit inside the toy car -- bursts out laughing as Grand-Karen storms away... probably to find a manager.
