Pro Tip: If Homeowner Sleeps Next to a Chainsaw, Don't Break Into the House

Forget stashing a gun next to your bed, opt for a chainsaw instead.
WLUC says a homeowner successfully scared off two potential home invaders over the weekend. On Saturday, Sasha Joy Anderson, 40, and Christopher William Darmofal, 32 of Warren, Michigan decided that their weekend activity should include terrorizing an unsuspecting homeowner.
Well, they picked the wrong house.
Darmofal started off the 4 a.m. robbery by brandishing a knife against the homeowner after gaining entry into the house. However, like a comedy of errors, said homeowner basically went "mine's bigger" and whipped out a whole chainsaw.
Now, imagine said homeowner chasing two full grown adults through his home and onto his lawn while waving around a revving chainsaw.
Police later found the shaken up would-be robbers at a nearby household. No one was physically hurt, but who's to say their egos were a somewhat bruised after being out-gunned, or, out-chainsawed on what should have been a simple robbery.
Anyways, Anderson posted $3,000 bail and Darmofal's was set at $5,000. They will head back to court in about three weeks.
