About the Farm

Tinedale Farms was established in 1863 by Augustus Theunis. Today, the farm milks 6,000 cows three times a day in a 110-stall rotary parlor and manages 7,500 acres. The farm has a digester that captures methane gas, which is sold as renewable natural gas. The Theunis family also operates Total Grain Services, which stores corn, beans, and wheat for their farm as well as other farmers in the area.
